11 week scan healthy, heart beat

Hi, sorry to be one of those paranoid ladies but I had a scan at 11+1 and all was well, baby was wriggling and there was a heartbeat. I was too early to do the test they wanted so I have to go back on the 4th of March when I am 13 weeks. We got excited and told people but now feel bad because I wasn't quite 12 weeks,

What are the chances of anything happening after seeing a healthy heartbeat at 11 weeks?

Thanks in advance x

Not much different to something happening at 12 weeks.
It gradually reduces but there's always a chance.
People usually go by 12 weeks as that's when they usually have their scans.
Not because of the 12 weeks in itself

Hi lovely. I wouldn’t worry, unfortunately we can’t ever say that there isn’t a risk at any stage of a pregnancy but the further along you are, the less of a risk there is. I miscarried at week 9 of my pregnancy, and was told by my dr that weeks 7-9 are the “risky” weeks should we say. There’s absolutely no reason to suggest anything will go wrong at this point! You’re literally approaching the 12 week mark where they regard it as relatively safe. Just enjoy :) xx

Very low chance of mc after this point and an active baby is always good. Congratulations and enjoy

Congratulations! I told people at 10 weeks (thought I was further along than I turned out to be!). Your chance of a mc at this stage is really low, especially if there's a strong heartbeat. It's hard not to think about, but try not to worry and enjoy your pregnancy!
