Bleeding second trimester

Had hospital admission due to bleeding second trimester 23 weeks.
They did scans and monitored baby and they can’t quite work out where the bleeding came from.
Cervix closed so not sure what’s happening.

Anyone else experienced this?

I had this at 33 weeks. Really heavy bleeding. Like you they never found out why. My healthy baby was born at 37 weeks after I was induced. It's such a scary time isn't it. Are you having any further monitoring?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, very worrying. They were happy to let me go after 3 days so I guess that’s a good sign..
think they said I will need extra scans going forward
