get checked out by midwife to rule out anything more serious, and calm your worries.

I had mad aching and cramping in my legs and joints during pg, it's down to the fact that the hormones loosen all your joints and make your muscles move very slightly differently from usual. Add this to a bit of extra weight and a change in centre of gravity (perhaps changing your posture a bit?) and you see why it is easy to get aches and pains.

Achy hips and legs here! I've added some support (pillows) to my hips and legs when I sleep and it's helped some.
Are you due in March too?

hi all - glad i'm not alone.

the run a million miles thing is about right. i've done the first year of a shiatsu massage course, and was trying to work some life into them last night -- all the time wishing DH would magic up a talent for rubbing! (bless him, he has tried a couple of times, but never has a person been less able to massage)

incidentally, my shiatsu college advertised a few months ago for preg ladies to practice on for a preg massage course. all the practioners were fully trained pro's and this was a post-grad weekend for people wanting more experience in preg work. unfort'ly, at the time i was less than 12 weeks, and they dont like to practice on people before then BUT makes me think, there must be loads of shiatsu, refloxoloy, reiki, massage courses etc crying out for PG women.

off to hunt! will post details of anything i find!

Same here - I'm 22 +4 and I've been feeling like this for the last couple of weeks. I did a load of housework yesterday afternoon, and I really regretted it all evening and to a certain extent today. I could hardly stand up. With my first pg, I'm sure I didn't feel like an 80 year old until after 30 wks
