Breech baby 36 weeks

Has anyone had an ecv to turn baby if so was it painful as my belly is tender when midwives are feeling for baby's position. Little worried

I had one which was successful and I went on to have a vaginal birth. Check with the consultant what their success rates are.
It was uncomfortable for me rather than painful- I had gas and air throughout. My tummy was slightly tender for a few days afterwards.
I was really scared going in as all I had heard was horror stories of how painful it was, but honestly it wasn't as bas as portrayed (for me personally).
Conversely my friend abandoned hers part way through as she found it very painful.

Thank you I'm not to bad with pain usually but my tender belly seems to be my weakness
