Hi Everyone,
I’m 24 weeks pregnant and I started feeling movement really early (as in like 16 weeks). Lately the baby has been soooo active which is amazing, but it feels like she’s awake all day the as she’s constantly kicking!
Just wanted to see what everyone else’s experiences are like?xx

Hey I'm 21 weeks and I felt movement really early, I had about four days last week where it honestly felt like she was constantly moving non stop! But then last two days she's barely kicked at all!!!

@AnxiousAnnie86
Aw congratulations! It’s so weird isn’t it, that’s the same as mine. Some days she’s soooo active like all day and other days there’s not much at all. They must be getting used to their sleeping patterns maybe? Xx

I'm 24+5 and been feeling proper movement since about 18-19 weeks. Little one has proper wiggle sessions, particularly after I've eaten or if I lay down. He also enjoys a good kick around at about 2am daily - thanks buddy haha!

It's so reassuring to be able to feel him now, and my husband loves feeling the kicks too. There has been the occasional quiet few hours some days but he doesn't stay still for long!

I’m 24+5 and I love all the wiggles. You can properly see my belly moving now, not just feel it! It’s nice that it makes DH a bit more involved aswell.

This last week I’ve noticed much more of a pattern for sleep/awake times for baby. Though I think sometimes it’s just how busy I am and so have much I notice.

I often have bouts of quite fast continuous kicks/movements for about 30 minutes.

I’ve also started to be able to tell which bit of baby is where. I know the extra hard bit is probably a head! Tbh reaching 24 weeks made me really happy. Now I know that if anything happens then baby will most likely be okay.

@Edelweiss2020 @PinkPlantCase
Congratulations to you both!
It’s so lovely being able to feel them move, have either of you got much of a bump? I feel like some days I have, some days I haven’t, just look more fat than anything haha!
I was so happy getting to the 6 month mark too, I was 24 weeks yesterday!xx

Thankyou OP congratulations to you too Grin

I’ve had quite a bump for a while. I am/was quite skinny though. My DH thinks it’s hilarious, there’s this big baby bump but at the top I’ve still got these boney looking ribs 😂

I think the midwife will start measuring my belly from 28 weeks, so will be able to find out then where I sit on the graph

Edelweiss2020 · 22/02/2021 10:24

My bump is finally making an appearance! Can still be hidden under a baggy hoody but if I'm wearing a t shirt or jumper you can tell now. Up until recently people didn't believe I was pregnant because there was barely anything there haha.

He wiggles about enough and was measuring slightly ahead on the 20 week scan so I'm not worried. I'm sure when my bump is huge I'll wish it was this small again haha!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 22/02/2021 10:41

Sorry to jump on, but feeling quite worried, I'm 21 weeks and I don't really get regular movement yet but it's definitely consistent throughout the day normally, the last few days she's really really quite, still feeling movements, but only like light movements every now and then, whereas before it was very noticeable dh could feel and very often, should I be worried? Xx

thebakeoffwasntasgoodthisyear · 22/02/2021 10:46

AnxiousAnnie ring your midwife or local maternity unit. I’m 25/40 and some days the movements are definitely less noticeable, but the midwife would rather hear from you rather than have you worrying at home.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 22/02/2021 10:57

@thebakeoffwasntasgoodthisyear thank you, my midwife isn't very helpful unfortunately I mentioned it to her and she just said - you don't Get patterns yet. She's very very cold unfortunately x

@PinkPlantCase @Edelweiss2020
That’s so exciting! I do feel a bit bigger but I have quite strong stomach muscles so I’m thinking maybe it’s taking her a while to push out? I have no idea haha! I keep saying I want a bigger bump but I’m sure as soon as I get one I’ll be like OMG too big hahaha!
@AnxiousAnnie86 I would call your midwife, she’ll probably invite you in for a listen in, I’m sure it’s nothing but it’s better to get it checked xx
