Hi, I'm probably not the first to seek reassurance with this but I have had slightly pinky discharge when I wiped today.
I am 6+2 and have read that it could be a surge in hormones causing it but it's not stopping my mind from thinking the worst..
Has anyone got any stories or experiences to share please..

I've had pink and brown bleeding with all 5 of my pregnancies between 5 and 7 weeks.
I've had 2 of them checked out before and all said its implantation bleeding mixed with the baby burying deeper.
It's extremely common and isn't really a worry unless it turns to red

Hey,

I had this at the beginning around 4+2 solidly for 2 weeks and then on and off until 9 ish weeks. I had light pink and brown. It was so scary and I have had a fair few scans but nothing has been found so far, so I guessed hormones. Hope you’re ok x

In my experience medical professionals aren't even fussed if it's spotting or even quite a bit when you wipe, they were only concerned with me when it started to fill pads.

Greeneyesbiglashes · 21/02/2021 16:18

Totally agree with @Garman the EPU were only concerned if pad was filling and cramping there too.

Hi, I did the same and sometimes brown with both my pregnancies, second time was on and off the whole pregnancy (was twins so more hormones??!)

SmidgenofaPigeon · 21/02/2021 16:40

I had pink and brown on and off up to about 8 weeks (am now 10) previous miscarriage so was terrified, but neither GP it midwife have been in the least concerned. Not seen the baby on a scan yet but hopefully all is well!

I went for scans like weekly!! Midwifes thought I was crazy but they did it to reassure me. Try not to worry!!! X

Just a little update in case someone else searches the title. I’ve had an early scan and all is well. Little heartbeat is nice and strong.
