Nausea 😭

I’m nearly 7 weeks pregnant and for the last week I’ve felt awful. I’ve only been sick twice at the minute but the nausea is awful. I feel so bad that I can’t manage to eat anything. But if it’s not the smell that’s making me want to gag it’s the texture of chewed food. I’m so hungry that my stomach is actually hurting I just really can’t manage anything. I’m trying to keep my fluids up.
I’m even worried about taking my vitamins because it states to take it on a full stomach.
Any ideas of food that doesn’t turn mushy when chewed 😂

Can you tolerate milkshakes? Perhaps a build-up type drink to keep the nutrients and calories up?
I found that making them REALLY cold and drinking through a straw was best.

Smoothies? I drank a lot of smoothies when I was pregnant and nauseated.

Yeah I’ll give both of them ago! It’s not something I’d normally have are shop bought smoothies alright or is it better to just get the bits and make my own that way.

Homemade are a bit healthier (usually less sugar) but shop bought is absolutely fine if you can't stomach all the food prep.

Cold fizzy drinks worked a bit for me. But anything calorific is good. Soups, smoothies, anything. And I think it’s better to take your vitamins on an empty stomach than not at all.
You have my full sympathies, it’s no fun Sad

Smoothies, soup, rice?

Constant snacking seems to work for me, never allowing myself to feel full up or starving hungry.

I feel your pain! I've been chopping oranges up and sucking the juice out, smoothies, strawberries and raspberries are my friends. I've also found frozen mango chunks are great!

What I can eat changes daily and yesterday all I wanted was a McDonald's (really not like me) and I are loads but today I'm struggling to stomach much at all! I've learnt to just go with it, eat what you want on the day. It's better to have food in your stomach whatever that food might be.

I'm 8w6d and really want this to pass!

I remember with my first I’d have awful sickness but it instantly disappeared when being sick and it very much just the morning and in the car.
This time around I’m getting nauseous over everything. Fruit seemed to be my go to at the start of the week I ran out and felt to rubbish to go out and get more. Mango seems to go down a treat. Luckily my partner went food shopping and stocked up on fruit for me 😂
@GummyBear91 I’ve been doing the same with oranges and clementines I can’t stand the stringy bits 😂
