Clear blue test vvfp left a hour and darker

I done a pregnacy test today not thinking i would be pregnant but did one because i havent had a period for 3 months (usually irregular) and due a operation in a week, the first test i done i was that desperate i only slightly wet the test and it came up negative after a while, so i done a second clear blue test which came up vvfp straight away i left the test thinking it was my eyes playing tricks and checked 5 mins after and still very faint so went back half hour later and its pretty dark now to the point you can very clearly see even on camera, anyone ever had false positives on clearblue? How reliable are they? Anyone elses got dark all of a sudden? Im so confused i really didn't expect it considering me and partner have been using contraception

The dark will be irrelevant because its out of the time frame. So of course it will soak up more ect. Its invalid.

However if you've had a faint positive within the time frame, I'd retake another test tomorrow and if that's faint too, maybe in a few days time.

A false positive is quite rare though unless it's out of the time frame.
