Me and my partner are currently TTC we do have 3 beautiful daughters but would love to make an even number in the household 🙈 I took a pregnancy test this morning and the test result come up clear positive, when I got home and shown my partner the test results he couldn't believe his eye so he asked me to do another test but this time we used a cheap 99p test stick and came up negative.

So you didn't use fmu for the second test? That'll probably be it, test again in the morning.

Yeah I got some cheapies after numerous positives from FRER but very very very slight positive with the cheapy even though it was post my period date. They're just less sensitive. Maybe wait a bit longer or get a different brand

I would stick by the positive result. Your urine was probably quite diluted later on in the day and cheap tests probably arnt as sensitive. I would get a better test tho and re-test just to put your mind at ease.

First morning urine or urine earlier in the day works best.
Very low chance of that first one being a false positive.
You'd be better to take one tomorrow morning

Very strange for me as I have always been like clock work. So am gonna wait now till Monday and if nothing then I think its gonna be an appointment with the DR to see whats going on.
