No vomiting or nausea!

Hello everyone!
Just wanted to come here for a bit of reassurance maybe because I’ve done a silly thing and googled no vomiting or nausea during 1st trimester.
I’ve read that you’re more than likely to have a healthy/successful pregnancy if you’ve vomited or had nausea through the first trimester!
I’ve had the odd days where I’ve had nausea but not to the point it’s made me bed ridden and so on it’s mostly the smell of things and certain foods that make me feel sick! I’m 12 weeks now so I’m just worried more than anything that because I haven’t really experienced these two things consecutively then it isn’t good?
Has anyone not had any sickness of nausea and gone on to have successful pregnancies and healthy babies?
Thank you! :)

I've had slight nausea but no sickness with all three of mine.

Luvacuppatea · 19/02/2021 19:40

Three full term pregnancies here. All healthy babies. Slight nausea very occasionally with both dds., but no vomiting. No nausea or vomiting at all when carrying ds..

TisConfusion · 19/02/2021 19:42

I had no vomiting of nausea with DC1 and everything was fine. Didn't vomit with DC2 but did have some nausea. Again, everything was fine Smile

I'm pregnant with my first, 18+5 ATM. I have had no vomiting and my nausea has been very mild, limited to only when I'm feeling bloated or turned off by a certain food. Also been more squeamish than usual. But no issues so far! My mum was the same, like zero symptoms in her pregnancies and both me and my sister are fine. So I wouldn't worry about it, a small percentage of women just don't get the sickness.

Ultimatecougar · 19/02/2021 19:43

I've had 3 successful pregnancies without any nausea or vomiting at all. I never felt pregnant with any of them.

hotpotlover · 19/02/2021 19:45

Never vomited. Currently looking at my 7 month old baby. Don't worry and count yourself lucky.

BurningBenches · 19/02/2021 19:46

Babies 1-3 (girls) no sickness minimal nausea with 3rd nothing with 1 or 2.
Baby 4 (boy) sick and nausea
Baby 5 (girl) currently 24wks, sickest of the lot.

Early miscarriages between 3&4 nausea.

So a mixed bag but no link for me between nausea/sickness and successful outcomes.

I only had the one pregnancy resulting in a perfectly healthy baby of a good weight. He's now a big healthy adult.
The closest I got to morning sickness was having to sit up slowly when I got out of bed or I'd feel a little queasy. I wasn't sick once in the whole pregnancy apart from one incident when I'd clearly eaten something suspect. I did have anaemia and felt very tired for the first trimester. I honestly breezed through pregnancy. My mother OTOH had hyperemesis with all her pregnancies.

I'd just enjoy it if I were you. Oh and congratulations Smile

BlueTimes · 19/02/2021 19:47

Six pregnancies and I’ve never felt remotely queasy let alone vomited, regardless of whether I have miscarried or not.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 19/02/2021 19:49

No vomiting at all here through 2 pregnancies. Please don't worry Flowers.

SBAM · 19/02/2021 19:52

I had no nausea or sickness at all with my first pregnancy and the result is now 3 and a half and refusing to go to sleep.
I did have nausea the second time, first was a girl, second a boy and interestingly a colleague had the same.

I’m 11 weeks and a few days and no sickness here! :)

crimsonlake · 19/02/2021 21:04

Two pregnancies and no nausea or vomiting whatsoever either with me.

Mummy2O · 19/02/2021 21:09

I am no nausea or sickness with my first pregnancy. It was a straightforward pregnancy.

I have made up for it with this one mind you. Confused

WhiteHorse92 · 19/02/2021 21:13

Pregnant with my first at the moment. No nausea, no vomiting, no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever in early pregnancy other than tiredness. I felt the same and was worried why I wasn't having symptoms and all I had was lines on a stick telling me I was pregnant. I only felt sick towards the end of the first trimester when I suddenly went off chicken and the sight or smell of chicken made me heave haha. Now 36+2 with a very active happy baby boy :)

DelurkingAJ · 19/02/2021 21:18

Two very healthy DSs and apart from one day with DS1 when I felt mildly queasy for a couple of hours nothing at all. My only symptoms throughout (other than a bump eventually) were tiredness and heartburn. Community midwife jokingly asked if I was sure it was my first and not my ninth as I was so very dull from a medical perspective. One of the few times when being boring is extremely good news!

Mother2princess · 19/02/2021 21:55

Pregnant with a boy and have had no sickness or anything this time!

mamakoukla · 19/02/2021 21:59

No nausea or vomiting; healthy baby. Enjoy!

User594022452 · 19/02/2021 22:02

I know at least 4-5 women who had this! Literally no symptoms at all in first trimester. You rarely hear about it since people don't really talk about trouble-free pregnancies. I was never sick myself either but fairly queasy for 2 weeks.
