Hello
I’m completely feel your pain I’m due 17th august so around 14.5 weeks pregnant with my first and feel grim every day
I’ve been hospitalised 3 times with sickness and I’m on so many tablets and blood thinner injections it’s grim
I’d say the sickness is slightly easing but I still feel nauseous everyday and eat hardly anything as everything still makes me gag (currently managing a very sweet cup of tea- fingers crossed)
I’m also getting bad stomach ache on a night time which I’ve looked up can mean stretching/ growing but it’s leaving me feeling absolutely rubbish!
I’ve no energy to do anything!
I’m hoping the next couple of weeks will leave me feeling more human again but I think it’s just a case of taking each day as it comes, try not to compare yourself with others I found I was and it wasn’t healthy
I’m also home working and I think with this lockdown and lack of eating my motivation and energy is hitting ground zero!
You’ve got a miracle inside you and it will be worth it in the end
Just keep counting down the weeks
P.s if anyone else tells me to try ginger biscuits I’ll scream ha

Hope you’re ok xx

As happy as i am to know there is someone else going through this am sorry your having it so bad. Thankfully ave not been hospitalised but the hubby keeps saying i need to fone the doc as this isnt right but i know you just have to get through it, as i was like this the last time but he was away during the week with work so didnt see the extent.

I have also had a couple of bleed & stomach aches n pains, my lower stomach if i stand up to quick or stretch hurt like muscles pulling. It just feels like its all a constant worry. I just need to moan to someone going through this as i feel like friends n fam can only just say ‘oh its a shame’ which just isnt cutting it.
Most days i barely get out my bed, even walking into the kitchen some mornings makes me sick, i think its all in my head to, the fridge is the worst place lol.
Trying to think it could be worse as i was driving 60 miles a day before to work so least this time am near my Toilet constantly rather thank being sick in my car twice a day. Bonus of working from home!

Is your sickness mostly biles & foamy saliva as u have a empty stomach? Its a struggle to drink water, i manage fizzy drinks tho weirdly.

I also wanted to chat on here because there are so much bigger harder issues out there just now & i feel guilty for the way am feeling.

Another positive note other than a beautiful healthy baby is i was so slim after i gave birth last time i looked better than i ever had, fitted into jeans i didn't fit pre pregnancy.

Me too! Due end f August although haven't had my dating scan yet, which is really annoying, think once you actually see baby and know it's okay it makes the feeling rubbish at least feel like it's for a reason.
Also been feeling rubbish from 6 weeks although didn't actually start vomitting until 7 weeks. I also throw up every time i walk into the kitchen in the morning, also every time i open the fridge and every time i have to change DD's nappy Sad although i think it is easing slightly this last week.
It's so s**t isn't it, i was the same 1st time around and really hoped this time would be better

Merrz · 19/02/2021 13:17

Also struggling to drink anything apart from fizzy juice and it has to be the full fat stuff Blush which is really not like me. Can't wait until i can manage to glug down a glass of water

Caz1226 · 19/02/2021 13:28

It’s good to be able to chat to people going through the same thing
Please don’t feel guilty at all it’s a horrible experience the way it can make you feel and I actually said to my partner really wasn’t expecting it to be like this or this bad at least
I didn’t want to go on medication but because I wasn’t keeping anything down the drs reassured me regarding the safety and said it could be worse for the baby and myself so you just need to make sure you look after yourself as well! I let mine get really bad which led to severe dehydration so please don’t do that!
I physically would not have been able to drive to work if I had to, I’ve had to have a month off work though due to not being able to get out of bed but I’m back logging on now which helps take my mind off the way I can feel
I’ve had no bleeding, but have had white discharge (sorry but we are al mums to be here ha) which again when I research says it’s normal
I’m quite small and rather petite so hopefully it’s just my body getting prepared for the stretching but I wish it would give me a break!
I don’t think I’m ever going to stop worrying until my baby is here it’s my thoughts al day everyday but I guess that’s what we are like - I’m definitely a worrier anyway
Xx

So glad to here yours is easing up abit. I find the days where i can go out for a walk etc on a Saturday am less sick but so exhausted walking etc. I feel like i wasn't this tired the last time its so had to remember even tho its just 4 yrs.
there were days i was so thirsty i my sight went blurred, also my lips getting so chapped & skin so dry to. I do try to limit to just 2/3 full fat fizzy drinks though.

@Caz1226 i used to worry how the sickness would effect the baby to & it was fine, i was on tabs a while in pregnancy 1 & on them now to but i don't think they really work so cutting them down & just persevering.
I remember after my 20 week scan feeling abit like is there a baby am i really preg as i wasn't as sick had had no kicks etc yet so that gives me hope i was semi back to normal abt then.
I was sick on n off 2 or 3 times a week up till month before due date but nothing as bad as at the start up to 20 weeks.
Everyday just now feels like a week tbh expesh in lockdown.
I have 1st nhs scan in a week so really looking forward to that.
Was so worried after the bleeding that i got a private scan at 9 weeks as was so on edge abt everything. Was def worth it & glad we did as its taking forever to get to my 12 week (will be 13 nxt week) scan.

Xxx

Awwww it really will be worth it
I was 13 weeks and 6 days when I had my scan (it was last Monday actually) and it was so lovely and because I was that bit further on the scan was so clear I could see their nose and lips 🥰- I’ve got my 20 week scan on April’s fools day haha so hopefully the literally one doesn’t trick us because we will be looking to find out the sex

I absolutely feel lockdown is not helping because I’m just at home all day and night- I agree I try and walk my dog when I can but it’s having the energy my poor partner has had to pick up how to run the house sharpish ha

I am still only on water ( and the odd brew) I’ve never liked fizzy drinks so I can’t even give them a go

The days really do drag, I’m not allowing myself to buy anything until after the 20 week scan so I can’t even occupy myself that way

Is mum to he’s really are troopers- I’m sure my mum and sisters never warned me how bad it can be xx

MummyLJD · 19/02/2021 15:11

Yeah its a real shock to the system for the other halves thats for sure. Doing the ‘woman jobs’ his words ha. I want to do things but after a hr ie washing etc am wrecked. Hubby says it could be my age this time ha, could be true am 35 this time round.

I actually dont know anyone who has sickness like this during pregnancy, mum said she felt a tad sick for a wee but during her 3. I tell u what al not be having a 3rd 😬
No wonder kate middleton stays so slim ha.

I cant wait to know what we are having it gives us something to look forward to, also need to know wheather to get the pink stuff out n washed or get shopping for blue 😁

Feeling good having someone to chat to girls, thanks xx

I don't remember being this exhausted last time either although i think having a toddler to look after doesn't help. I even have to lie down after i get out the shower because i'm exhausted, feel like i might faint sometimes.
Yip totally with you on time dragging, i thought January was never going to end, feel like i counted down every minute

MummyLJD · 19/02/2021 16:19

@Merrz omg am the same after a shower have to have a rest then after put my cream on then to ‘part’ dry my hair. Mum says i might feel better doing my hair n putting make up on etc, am like eh no haha

It has helped but some days are still terrible. I have been so miserable with it and not being able to eat normally. I hope everyone feels better soon!

Totally, I've had a few days where I've felt a lot better and only been sick once so get my hope's up that's it over but the next day is worse than ever Confused
I've been eating watermelon which is going down well and really helping with the dehydration if anyone wants to give it a go
