Hi,
It’s my first time posting on here. Feeling heartbroken. My period is always on time. I was 3 days late. I was awake since 3am this morning in excitement for taking a test. As soon as I took the test, I started my period.
We’ve been trying for 3 years with no luck. My GP has been really unhelpful - initially she refused to do any tests on me at all other than a blood test which came back normal. Also - I am 35 years old.
Eventually, she said my husband has to get checked before I can get checked. When his tests came back she didn’t get in touch. I rang up and she just laughed and said oh everything is normal. I said I wanted more detail at which point she said, the sperm morphology is 2% whereas normal starts at 4% - she said it’s nothing to worry about though because everything else is normal.
She then said she would refer me to the infertility department. My appointment is next week. I don’t know what to expect, I’m so nervous and my GP is not approachable at all.
Sorry for the long post - I had to get it all off my chest as I feel so sad as I type this...
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
