Hana sling wrap for the first 4 months and then the ergo360 Omni thereafter.

I have a bought a Konny baby carrier. Still pregnant but have tried it (with a teddy to check size!) and it feels very comfortable. So easy to put on. I can't wait till use it.

Most buckled carriers are OK to a size 24 or so. At a size 16 you shouldn't have an issue with any of them. Body shape is more important than size, e.g. people with narrow shoulders often don't get on with Ergo or Tula. Integra are excellent and easily adjustable for a range of sizes.

Thanks ladies

I carry a lot of my fat round my middle and have a lot of excess skin after twins so I'll see how I get on. We used to have one several years ago, I was bigger then and found it quite uncomfortable.

Size 20/22 after DC1, had a wrap for the early days, then ergo baby 360 omni fitted lovely with straps to spare.

No actual experience sorry! I wanted to buy one and the shop actually told me to wait until baby is here - they said hopefully if lockdown permits then I can try different ones with baby and see which we both find comfy as different people and babies are different sizes. That seemed to make a lot of sense to me and I'm hoping we'll be able to do that.

Also found that there are a few companies that let you hire them which might be a good option if there's something pricey you want to try out.

Another vote for Ergo! I loved ours.
