Extremely fast labour experiences

First labour was v.slow (3 days), but 2nd was 1 hr 30 from first contraction to end.

For anyone else who has had an extremely fast labour, where subsequent labours faster?

My second was my fastest. First was 3 days as well second from 4cm waters breaking to him out was 17mins thank god I was in hospital anyway. 3rd went to hospital at 3am he was born at 6 and 4th went in at 12am was only at 3cm but because of previous quick labour's kept in checked again at 4am was 4cm he was born at 6.50am so doesn't always mean super fast but were fast but enough time to get to hospital

First was 2 hours. Second was just under an hour.

My first labour was about 10 hours from the first ‘proper’ contraction, I had tightenings for about 5 hour before. My 2nd was very different, my waters broke at 6pm but I had no contractions, went to hospital and the midwife thought I was mistaken. At 8pm contractions started and my daughter was born 45 minutes later. It was horrendous my body wasn’t prepared and I felt totally out of control. Number 3 was a prepared home birth because I was terrified of a repeat of number 2 and not getting to the hospital in time. In the end labour was about 5 hours, very relaxed and chilled. I would choose my 5 hour labour over the 45 minute one any day!
