31 weeks and brown

Hi there. I had some light brown discharge(sorry tmi) on my liner this morning . I called the maternity unit and they said that is unusual for 31 weeks but to monitor it and call back later if it happens again and baby's movement s change.
Has anyone else experienced this at 31 weeks? Feel it's a bit early to be the start of the bloody show!

Have you had sex recently? That can cause brown spotting at any stage of pregnancy.

Unlikely to be an issue if discharge goes back to normal within a day or two.

Hi thanks for your reply. No I havnt , I did read that could cause it.

It's very worrying isn't it, hate playing the waiting game with such things.
