Pregnant with copper coil

Has anyone ever fallen pregnant on this? Found out yestday with three positive tests and my coil is still in place which iv had for over a year. I have three children my youngest barely 18 months yet, just been offered an interview for a nursing course I have been dying to do for years. This is probably the worst thing that can happen to me and I have no idea what to do. Sorry if it's in the wrong thread just joined, looking for some advice and to get it off my chest. Haven't phoned doctors or that yet.

It's a bit iffy if your coil is still in place. You have options open to you and time to think it through fully.

I found out I was pregnant less than a year after having a copper coil fitted. My GP couldn't see it with an internal examination so sent me for a scan the next day. They did abdominal and internal scans, no sign of the coil but 2 sacs and fetal heartbeats. So a double shock!!
It was very unexpected but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Oh they're almost 6yr now and I'm expecting another (planned this time).
