Mild cramps and spotting? Please help

Had mild cramps for a few days and just been to the toilet and noticed this when I wiped. I don't know if this is spotting or bloody discharge but I'm really panicking now. This is my first pregnancy and I'm around 6+3. I haven't had any contact with a midwife and I don't have a telephone appointment until 9+3. What should I do in this case? Feel so worried. Sorry for tmi pic but I don't know where else to turn right now.

It was a bit more coloured than it's showing up on the picture.

Many women experience light bleeding in early pregnancy. I'd only call the hospital if you start bleeding more heavily. You can also get a private scan to put your mind at ease. Don't worry, it will be alright hugs

Thinking back to my pregnancy, I also had cramping at 6 weeks and it was a healthy pregnancy x

I had this in the early stages of both my (uncomplicated) pregnancies. Don’t worry about it.

I had cramping as well, like period pains. Vague recollection that it has something to do with changes to the cervix? It was all fine anyway.

The cramping isn't what I'm worried about really, it's the spotting/pink discharge. I've got myself really worked up about it. I've got a scan booked for 8 weeks (soonest available) but I'm going to be on edge until then

@clairadoll Can you afford to go to a private scan? They could book you in tomorrow if they have capacity.

This looks more yellow than pink to me I would say? But maybe it’s hard to tell from the pic. I’m 5+6 and having pale yellow discharge, I’m told it’s normal.

I have had a mc before and it started as brown discharge and then turned red. I think looking at that pic you should be ok xx

I've got a scan for next Sunday 28th when I'll be 8 weeks, it does look a bit yellowish on the photo but I wonder if that's the lighting as it was definitely pinky coloured, I have been having the usual coloured discharge throughout which hasn't worried me at all but the colour of this just panicked me a bit. I've calmed down a bit now and will check if there's anymore tomorrow. Just been to the toilet again there and there was nothing there this time.

(The scan next Sunday is a private one)

Hopefully it’ll be nothing, just monitor it and see if it continues or gets worse.

I do find I get a bit of pink after sex, and you can also get it if you’re constipated so could be that.

Is your scan this coming Sunday? X
