Heya, I’m looking for some help/information or if anyone else has had similar...
So, I started talking the mini pill (POP) on the 29th of January 2021, this was on day 5 of my period (day one was 25th) at this point I hadn’t seen my partner for just over a week as i was in isolation. I stopped bleeding around the 30th. I am certain i was not pregnant before as i had my usual very heavy period during isolation, when I started the pill.
I came out of isolation on the 2nd of February and of course my partner and i was super happy to finally see each other !! I have been at his every night since then, i started bleeding again around the 5th or 6th, no where near as heavy as my usual periods but maybe heavier than what id imagine spotting to be like? (I don't know I've never had spotting before!) i just put this down to break through bleeding because of the pill and my body getting used to it, we are now on the 16th of February and i am still lightly bleeding.
I spent all day Saturday crying in work, when i got home, in bed, in my car, i was all over the place ! One of the girls in work told me repetitively that i needed to take a pregnancy test, however i told her there was no way i could possibly be pregnant as i am bleeding and I'm on the pill! She told be how she was on the pill and bleeding for 3 months before she took a test and now she has a beautiful little boy!
That night i felt so so sick, was hanging over the toilet, mouth watering, sweating and shivering, awful! The following morning (Sunday 14th Feb) on my way to work i stopped at the shop and grabbed a couple of clear blue pregnancy test, one digital weeks indicator one and one that comes up with lines. When i got to work i went and peed on the line stick... I was in shock to see a line coming up, faint but not too faint it was a definite line! With that i thought i must be seeing things, imagining a line, so i ran out to my car and grabbed the digital one... digital one come up with - pregnant 1-2 - I was freaking out i was soooo so shocked! I had not yet taken the pill for that day, so I stopped taking the pill straight away thinking maybe the bleeding would stop too.
Yesterday I spoke with my dr and she was also shocked said i shouldn't be getting a positive result at all just yet as i am too early (3-4 weeks).Yesterday i took another test, the line was there but maybe a little fainter than the day before. I told my dr this and she told me i must stop taking tests, she said it could be implantation bleeding, if I'm still bleeding in 2 weeks they will book me in for a scan as at the moment it wouldn’t be visible on a scan.
The bottom of my back has been aching the last few days quite a bit and last night in bed i had some tummy pains too, I've had little bits of weird pains (not really bad but there) on and off throughout the day today.
Despite my dr telling me yesterday to stop testing i have got a little bit of an addiction since Sunday with peeing on sticks! I have taken more tests today the lines are still there however the digital tests are now saying - not pregnant -
The bleeding has not got any heavier if anything maybe even lighter but i am still bleeding, along with these off little pains in my tummy.
I know i am super early so this would be classed as a chemical pregnancy if i am miscarrying....
Does anyone else think I’m miscarrying?
Has anyone had lower back aches and slight pains in their tummy and been bleeding from the start and baby been okay?!?! And decrease in pregnancy test positives over 2 days? :(
