3rd pregnancy all with a anterior placenta. I've been feeling this baby since 16 weeks which is really really early but I think it's because they said my placenta is low and my 3rd. With previous 2 I was around 23/24 weeks until I could feel then and then I was feeling them regularly straight away. I think they do say that if you've got a anterior placenta then the placenta does end up cushioning the kicks so you may not feel them as early as someone with a placenta in a different position.

Hi, I didn't feel the twins kick until 24 weeks, I have a anterior placentas so I know your pain in wanting to feel them kick. I'm currently 27+1 and they are moving alot though admittedly I still mostly feel them low down kicking near my hips rather than up high or near the front of my belly button.

SkyBlue20 · 16/02/2021 13:48

First kicks were about 22 weeks but I didn’t feel her regularly until about 33 weeks - I found it so difficult as everyone says you need to be aware of their pattern. 36+3 now and I do feel her regularly throughout the day but still couldn’t say she has a pattern 🤷🏻‍♀️

I felt the first flutters around 18 weeks even though this is my first and an anterior placenta. Definite kicks from around 22 ish weeks.

HobnobbingAboutHobnobs · 16/02/2021 14:19

Anterior placenta and felt flutters from about 21 weeks, definite kicks from about 24 weeks

Tomatoandbasil · 16/02/2021 14:23

Anterior placenta and 36 weeks pregnant. I’m having extra monitoring because I go several days between feeling movements.

Nellle · 16/02/2021 14:28

I have posterior placenta but didn't feel anything until 22 weeks. Try not to worry x

Hi were nearly due date buddies I am 19 +1 today and not felt a thing. This is baby #3 and on #2 I had the same thing and didnt feel anything till 21 weeks. I really thought being my third I would feel it earlier but nope even a flutter here so far. Its so nerve wracking isn't it.

Reeva1988 · 16/02/2021 20:55

Anterior placenta and first obvious movement at 20 weeks x

xoxochellexoxo · 16/02/2021 21:05

@MrsMDD aw wow! I am due 11th july. At my 12 week scan she did say its more towards 24 weeks for FTM but i had a cheeky early scan last week and the lady told me it was anterior and that i would feel baby kicks just perhaps not as strong or frequent, i have my 20 week scan next thurs so will ask more questions ☺️

I'm 22 weeks with anterior placenta and haven't felt a thing 🤔

Mummyof2Terrors · 17/02/2021 02:49

Second baby anterior, 19+2. Movements very different to first pregnancy.

Leala20 · 17/02/2021 07:51

First time pregnant, almost 21 weeks and finally felt small individual kicks ( i think) over the last couple of days on my right hand side lower bottom but with my hand down. Not sure I would be able to feel it without my hand on. My midwife told me 22 -24 weeks.

Marilla1966 · 17/02/2021 08:08

I had this with my first. Didn’t feel any movements until about 24 / 25 weeks.

xoxochellexoxo · 17/02/2021 11:57

Thankyou ladies fingers crossed for some movement in the coming weeks x

19wks with my 3rd which was anterior. 1, 2 and 4 I felt much earlier (posterior) this pregnancy DC5, is posterior and I didn't really feel them until 22wks.

AegonT · 17/02/2021 14:16

20 weeks exactly for my first pregnancy - I had an anterior placenta, it was just flutters. I have a posterior placenta this time and felt movement at 15 weeks, clear kicks soon after. The amount of movement I feel this time is much more too.
