Has anyone used proctosedyl when pregnant?

GP prescribed it to me today for piles but after looking online I don’t know if I want to use it. It seems anusol is safer so would I be better off just using anusol?

Yep- prescribed by a doctor as I wept with gratitude! Was totally fine. Suspect it’s another case of not being able to officially approve it for use in pregnancy because they can’t run trials on pregnant women.

It is, but as someone whose piles became thrombosed during pregnancy, I’d say use the cream!!!
