Low lying anterior placenta

Anyone else been told they have have a anterior placenta that's low lying? I've been told I'll have another scan at 30 weeks to see if it's moved or not. Has anyone had this before and it has moved out of the away and allowed a natural birth?

My fear is being told I'll have to have a c-section and I'm now panicking already.

It wasn't anterior but the lower of my twins had a placenta covering the cervix at 20 weeks. It had moved enough for a natural delivery by 32 weeks but she then turned breech between then and 36 weeks so I ended up with a cesarean.

Yep, I have! I'm 26 weeks and awaiting 32 week scan to see if it has moved. 9 times out of 10 it moves out of the way

I did 9 years ago. It moved out of the way, 90% of them do Grin

It's incredibly rare that it doesn't move :) 9/10 times it will, mine had moved enough on the 36 week scan which apparently was unusually late

Oh thats made me feel much better Smile I made the typical bad mistake of googling it and read all kinds of things I wish I hadn't!

I'm in the same position I have an extra scan at 32 weeks! This is my third baby and not had it before! I know it's worrying but I'm sure it will move. When I first found out I worried but now I'm chilled about it and just have to wait and see xx
