Hello all! Just here to ask for some advice I haven’t used mumsnet before so not sure if I’m doing it right haha.
I’m 11 weeks pregnant and since I found out I was pregnant I’m running back and forth to the toilet all the time to have a wee, that was actually one of the first symptoms I had that why I took a test Grin
I have another 10 days until I have my 12 week scan but I had a scan not long ago in the early pregnancy unit because of pain and was told everything looked good and was ok!!
But this morning I’ve woken up and my urge to wee all the time has just stopped randomly and I’m a bit worried at the moment I’ve recently had a bout of thrush that I had pessaries and some cream for that’s cleared up I don’t know if that had something to do with it maybe not??
But I’m a bit worried maybe my uterus has stopped growing and not leaning on my bladder anymore?? I’m just having a bit of a panic, this is my first pregnancy and first baby and I’ve been relatively calm up until now this morning when the urge has just stopped!! I haven’t had many symptoms either other than sore boobs, the urge to pee and just generally tired, like I could nap throughout the day if i wanted haha Grin
Just want some advice if that’s okay please and don’t judge this is all well and truly new to me!! Thanks!!

I forgot to mention as well I’m still getting the sharp shooting pains and they’ve gotten greater the last couple of days again, and I’m sore to touch around my belly button too, the pains come when I’m like moving a lot or getting up and down and it’s making me worried a bit again to be honest more than anything

Symptoms can start to disappear around the end if the first trimester, so I really wouldn't worry! You may even find you get a day's peace and they come back!! The second trimester is also apparent the nicest, and whilst my symptoms have improved I'm still pretty tired most of the day!!
The shooting pains sound like everything is stretching, and moving inside - again totally normal!

Congratulations and try to distract yourself for the next 10 days! It will go quicker than you think!

Symptoms don't mean anything.
Especially as you're heading into the second trimester. It's normal for them all to disappear.

@Taytay90 look up 'round ligament pain' - that sounds like what you're describing re the shooting pains and is totally normal.

I'm 16 weeks and I hardly had any symptoms in the first trimester, and basically none at all now apart from a growing bump, bigger boobs and first fluttering movements. From around 12 weeks your uterus starts to lift up and out of the pelvis, so this could be why you feel less like you need to pee - because the pressure has been taken off your bladder. If I'm honest I never really had an increased need to pee even in the first trimester x

@MintGreenLife I did look it up and I’m still not sure I’m hoping it is!!
That must be so exciting to feel the start of the movements! I can’t wait for that now, still a while to go!!
Thank you for putting my mind at rest I do feel a lot lot better! Thank you :) x
