Hello all, just a quick one, has anyone ever tested negative on the day AF is due but then gone on to be pregnant? If so, how soon after AF was due did you get your BFP, I have had pregnancy symptoms for a week or so now but tested this morning (AF due today) with FMU and got a BFN but I'm feeling nauseous, really sore breasts, sensitive nipples, lots of CM (sorry tmi) and tummy cramps, so wondered if there is still hope, I have tried an early detect as well (cheap one from local pharmacy) and that was a BFN too, would love to hear from anyone with their stories please Smile

No stories sorry! Do you know when you ovulate? It might be your ovulate later than you think so if AF hasn’t arrived in a few days do another test and it could be positive

I believe I ovulated around the 15th January but I could be wrong as I had my implant removed on the 18th January, so my body may not have gone back to normal yet as I had it for 6 years (2 rods)

Ahhh I this the progesterone only implant? I was on the equivalent orally and it did take a while for me get a normal cycle. Maybe try some ovulation sticks / tracking CM & temps.

Hi OP, after I had my implant removed it took me about 6 weeks from removal to get a first proper period again and in that time I had lots of pregnancy symptoms - more than I had when I actually fell pregnant a few months later! I read this is quite common after you have the implant taken out as your body adjusts etc. I also think I didn’t start ovulating until the second cycle after removal (didn’t track using sticks etc but noticed I started getting CM around this time). I’d say it took 2 months for my body to regulate, and then month 3 I fell pregnant. Hope this helps! X

Thank you so much for your replies, I was on nexplanon implant, weirdly I got my period 20mins before I left for the appointment to get it removed, which was 18th Jan, I'm still waiting for AF atm so will just have to see what happens Smile
