Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️

I'm really early into my pregnancy this will be my 2nd child 🤞🏼

Having done this once before only a couple of years ago I feel stupid but it's like the whole previous experience has been complete wiped from my memory!

I suffered a cp a few months ago and now I'm praying everything is going to be ok with this pregnancy. I have a private scan booked in soon to try and reassure myself there's something there even though the 10's of PT all tell me there is. But it's the not knowing that all is well.

Anyway my question is, when did u feel a connection with ur baby. I don't even feel pregnant atm. I'm trying to think back and maybe it was when my DD started moving and I could feel her etc. But I'm not sure tbh.

I really want something to look forward to and just curious with everyone's experiences. I understand that everyone will be different. Just trying to focus on the good to avoid stressing as much as poss.

TIA 😘

Congratulations :)

After my 12 week scan I relaxed a little knowing there was actually a baby in there and they were doing okay. When I started to feel baby moving at about 18-19 weeks it felt more real. Once we found out the sex and saw him and that he was healthy at the 20 week scan I've really started to love him and talk to him a lot now haha. Still very anxious about everything but it's definitely nicer now I can feel him moving, I'm almost 24 weeks now.

Congratulations too @Edelweiss2020

I really don't want to wish time away cos this will be our last child but at the same time I really can't wait to have those feelings again. For it to feel real!!!! Wish u a happy and healthy journey x

Agree with the other poster, when I felt him kick and found out he was a boy was what did it for me ☺️

Around 20-22 weeks when the movements grew stronger I felt a connection, I think before this it was self preservation to not feel too connected in case something bad would happen

@jupeBex ye that's a really good point about trying to avoid a connection too early to try and protect ourselves a little!!!

Why does time go so slowly in the beginning. Get me to 12 weeks so I can relax!!
