Please help.. 6 weeks pregnant but clearblue digi says 1-2

Hello, so sorry if this is in the wrong place, im very new to this!
I got my first bfp 2 weeks ago (yay 😁) confirmed with digi that said 1-2 weeks so all good. Have become a poas addict over the last 2 weeks and all bfp on different brands, fairly strong line on frer but not a dye stealer at 5 weeks which made me panic a bit! Now 2 weeks later, still getting pregnant 1-2 on digi. And ive done a lot of them! I should be any where between 5-6 weeks so surely this should at least be showing 2-3 by now! Very very worried as i had a cp a few months ago and was devastated, scared the sames happening again but then why the bfp's for 2 weeks is whats confusing me? Any other experiences or advice on this would be great thank you 🙏 good or bad, maybe need to prepare myself for the worst.

@chica1990 thankyou 😊 I am really concerned about that! Bloods were 149 down to 139 so its going in the right direction just slowly. Bloods again on monday. Im just wondering if ectopic usually has a higher hcg levels or would that not a make difference?

Ectopics don’t normally progress properly so I think the hcg levels tend to be lower than higher, my levels for mine were low anyway!

Have they spoken about this being a possibility? I’ve seen people on here who have had self resolving ectopics but they do take a while to go to 0 unfortunately 😞 I’m glad they’re keeping an eye on you x

@chica1990 sorry to hear to you went through that! They have mentioned it, off for 3rd bloods today but have had some bleeding so hoping all going back to normal now. Of course id rather it didnt go this way but seen as theres no other outcome i just want it to all be over now ☹️

I was just wondering at what point did you start bleeding? I know in my heart of hearts that the same thing is happening to me right now. I’m 5 weeks tomorrow (or today!) and my lines like this one have been like this for a whole week and still 1-2 on a digi. I’ve had no spotting or bleeding though and I tried to get the GP to take my bloods or refer me to EPU today but they weren’t interested at all. I just wish they’d listen as I raised concern for ectopic as well but it’s just been brushed off.

Hey @mamaatthegym Im so sorry your going through this too! I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and my line was also quite faint and after a couple days was super faint. I bled the week after my normal period was due. This time around has been alot longer, but my lines have been alot stronger than they were last time so possibly my hcg is higher than it was in my first loss. Today im 7 weeks since my last period and only spotting so i still havent properly bled. I think its so different for everyone. Im so sorry you're going through this! The gp wasn't interested at all ether when i called so we went private who then reffered me to epu so it could be worth doing it that way if you can? I hope you have a better outcome than me! Sorry it’s dragging on I just want to start bleeding so I can get on with it (sounds really horrible I know!) but being in limbo and the cycle just dragging on is making it worse!

Did you get private bloods or a private scan?

I’m thinking at 5 weeks it would be too early for a private scan anyway as I doubt they’ll see anything at all however I’d really like to try and rule out ectopic. I might phone them EPU but I have a feeling they won’t be interested either. Xx

@mamaatthegym it doesn't sound awful at all. I feel the same. Of course if there was another possible outcome i would keep hope but seen as there isnt, i just to want to be able to forward.

I booked a private scan but they said it was pregnancy of unknown location so referred to epu where theyve done bloods and scans. Had bloods done this morning and they gone up a bit from 139 to 166 so im getting really concerned about ectopic. Have another scan on wednesday but im not sure theyd see anything?

I’m so sorry to jump on this now but how many weeks was you when you went for your fist scan I’m going through the exact same and I really need to know

I have been testing for 2 weeks everyday now and I’ve got loads of strong positive pregnancy tests , tried doing a clear blue digital to see what it would say as I should be 6weeks and 3 days pregnant, but the clear blue said 1-2 , I’ve got some spotting but I am on heparin injections so that’s Normal, can anyone sympathise with this current situation?

@Jem2160 hi lovely , my advice is to stop testing. Pregnancy tests aren't designed to monitor hcg levels. They have one purpose to tell you if your pregnant or not.
Trust me , just stop doing them. I've been in your shoes. I became addicted to testing and stressing myself over test lines .
I know its so hard to do but please step away for your own sanity

Bleeding has settled and still getting positive pregnancy tests , going to book a private scan next week

I had a scan at 7 weeks and all was fine last time , now my daughter is 3

Unfortunately I lost the baby at 7 weeks and miscarried

I’m so sorry. To be honest I’m pretty sure mine will turn out the same way. I’m hoping at this point it’s just not ectopic. Baby dust to you xx
