Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You poor thing, try not to worry, it's probably impossible though! You could call the midwives and just talk it through? They are always there and they get calls like this all the time. They can also tell you the timings of the early pregnancy unit and you could maybe get a reassuring scan? Thinking of you x

I'm 12+2 today and have been experiencing really bad cramping what feels like in my left ovary all day. I did have an early scan at 8 weeks and everything was fine and the sonographer confirmed the egg came from the left side and there was a slight cyst but nothing abnormal and nothing to worry about. I have my NHS dating scan on Tuesday.

My mind is just doing overtime at the moment and I'm so scared something is wrong. Has anyone else experienced cramping at 12 weeks? My symptoms have also seemed to have disappeared in the last week, I struggled with really bad sickness and tender breast at first now nothing. I haven't had any bleeding it's just the cramps are severe and making me worry.

I would appreciate any advice/ help. Thank you, I'm a nervous wreck and can't help but think the worst.

I had the same thing. I also ovulated from the left side! Please try and relax it's normal. I was freaking out and had an internal scan at 5 weeks and 8 weeks, I also had spotting. I then had more cramps and spotting before my dating scan. All was fine. I'm now 20 weeks and 2 days. Just popped the gender reveal balloon with my partner this afternoon and having a little girl , I hope this reassures you that you'll be okay.
Please call midwife in the morning for extra peace of mind ❤️ enjoy the rest of your pregnancy xxxx

Thank you so much for replying to me. My midwife is shocking I don't have a direct line for her. When I had my first appointment with her the only contact number she gave me was the Gp's which she only works there once a week and then the community midwifes number however due to the volume of calls they have they are not answering calls and ask you to leave a message however never come back to you. I'll try a few numbers tomorrow. I know I can wait until Tuesday for the scan it's just the unknowing for that long is killing me and scaring me more. Thanks again Xx

Thank you so much for your reassurance. And congratulations on your little girl! I can't wait to get to that stage. I don't want to wish my pregnancy away however I just can't stop worrying about everything. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy ❤️

I had really bad cramping in the first trimester, I could barely move or talk from the pain and DH would have to come with a hot water bottle. Most of my symptoms eased off once I reached 12ish weeks, usually the second trimester you can barely feel pregnant compared to the mess of symptoms during the first! If you have any bleeding, call the Early Pregnancy Unit if you can't contact the midwife and they will be able to tell you what to do. I phoned the midwife at about 10 weeks from the cramping but while there was no blood and everything else was ok they were happy. In the third trimester now!

I’m on the pregnancy forum now because I am considering trying for a second but I couldn’t resist replying because I remember being SO worried when I was experiencing it!

@Dan3i oh bless your heart I'm sooooooooo glad to hear everything is okay. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ well done for being so strong!! Phew!
