Finding out VERY early......twins?????

Hello

I was just wondering if anyone else has got a bfp very early on and found out they are having twins?

I know I sound a bit paranoid but I'm expecting no.5 and I got my bfp when I was 3+3 (about 8dpo max!) and the thought of twins has crossed my mind

Any experiences would be very welcome

maybe! maybe not, but thought i would bump for you.
I have 2 sets of twins. For my second set i got a negative reading at 5 days late for period, then a week later i got a very faint positive. So would never guess i was carrying more than 1 baby (it was actually triplets but lost one early on). So actualy totaly different to you.

It's only on a scan you can be 100% sure. Sometimes mums-to-be have the worst morning sickness with just the 1 baby. But i didn't have any when carrying twins, so it is very hard to tell.

this is odd as i am in same predicament
seemed to test positive at 9 /10 dpo and although delighted am tentatively nervous that this could mean more than 1

when was lmp lucky?

quidproquo, how strange we'e both in the same situation! my lmp was 19th sept so I'm 6 weeks now, how far along are you?

I got BFP at 10DPO and I am having twins. But my friend had twins and didn't get BFP till a few days after period was due. It could be twins, or you could have OV'd earlier than you thought. 8DPO is very early for a BFP!

Yes 8dpo is very early (earlier than with any of my others) but I'm totally sure of my dates, also I had had the flu so only managed to dtd one day out of the month

Well I guess I'll find out soon enough, I know its very unlikely to be twins but as I said it had crossed my mind!

Well whatever happens I hope it is a happy outcome! Twins is very exciting and everyone makes a real fuss of you. (I always say 'do you want to come round in may and help look after them?')

I got a bfp at 10dpo, and only had one. As has been suggested, you might have ov'd earlier than you assume.

I got my BFP at 10 days PO.

I know when I ovulated as I was using CBD ovulaution kits.

I too have read about this relation to twins and already have twins in the family.
Im currently 5weeks and already seem to have a bit of a belly so too worrying about the possiblilty of twins.

I too tested 5 days before AF was due and got my BFP. There are twins in my family also and I'm an older mother (38). But I've not had any symptoms really. Tenderish (.)(.)s sometimes and tiredness (but that seemed to conincide with the clocks changing). No MS at all? Have even done more tests to confirm HCG levels!!! Did think if it is twins, I would have terrible MS. Tested 10 dpo (I know as I was using a CBDM) so who knows?
Clothes are getting uncomfortable especially by the evening and by my reckoning I'm 6+4.
