Partner and pregnancy

Was anyone else's partner not happy about the pregnancy in the beginning? If so did they finally start looking forward or start to be more happier about it? Smile

Yes with DS1. He seemed to settle into it after a few months but then the resentment reared it's ugly head and he was an awful partner and father. He never wanted DS and made it perfectly clear throughout DS's life.
I thought once DS was born he would fall in love with him but now I know that only happens on TV.
DS is 16 and had no relationship with his father at all.
