Hair or lack of!!!

Hi Girls,

Was wondering if anyone who had boys or know they r having a boy had less hair on their legs when pregnant? The hair on my legs has stopped growing with this pregnancy and I don't know the gender yet.Interesting to find out what everyone elses r like!!

I thought less leg hair was meant to be a girl?

Hya Dkay - I thought the old wives tale said..if you had more hair then it was a boy? More testoterone apparently? I dont believe any of the old wives tales hahaha They all contradict themsleves with me...I dont knwo what im having (32 weeks pregnant) and the hair has stopped growing on legs (girl), didnthave any sickness ( boy), all out front ( boy) but have a craving for chocolate(girl).....Its going to be one of them! hahaha

The old wives tale says less hair = girl, but I'm just curious as to whether anyone had a boy with less hair on legs!! Or is the old wives tale true??

Yes! When preg with DS I hardly ever had to shave my legs, the hair growth just slowed right down. Also I didn't have to wash the hair on my head as often as pre-preg, it just didn't seem to get greasy.

My legs are v hairy & I'm having a girl. I'm not normally that hirsute, and tbh it's really only on my legs that I've noticed it.

I definitely had less hair...and had a boy.

My hair has stopped growing on my legs, and I'm having a boy.

Didn't notice this last time with dd

With DS1 I was just as hairy as normal.
With DS2 I had much much less leg hair.
Currently pg with DC3 (possibly a girl but sonographer not sure as baby had legs crossed) and again have much less hair!

I love old wives tales and I had heard this one before but it doesn't seem to have much truth in it - not for me anyway!
