Hi ladies I'm 28.4 and went to hospital to be checked over weds for feeling of reduced movement was monitored and was results were reassuring according to midwife.. baby is still not as active as she was but there are still alot of movement on and off throughout the day .. I have been trying to work out a pattern but I just cant find one I know many woman on here say they don't have one either so I was wondering how you deal with it regarding movements or knowing everything is ok and not worring ..

When I was pregnant with DS he also didn't have much of a pattern so it was difficult to keep tabs on movement. I went into the MAU regularly when I felt like I'd had a particular long stretch of little movement. Always give them a call if you're ever worried.

Do you notice movement when you do certain things for example, drink a cold drink or eat certain foods or just a meal in general. You could also try lying on your left side. All of these things used to get DS moving for me and if these didn't work, that's when I'd call MAU for monitoring.

I also used the app Kicks Count which helped me to realise DS had been more active in the day than I realised. When I was working I think my mind would be preoccupied and forget I'd felt movement.

Also just as a thought, do you know the position of your placenta? I had an anterior placenta which I'm sure also masked movements until DS got really big toward the end.

I’m about the same gestation as you and I’m not sure if baby has a pattern - she does move lots though.

Don’t worry about going back to be monitored - it’s what they are there for.

My baby never had a pattern or time of day when she was most active. My midwife kept asking me what the pattern was and sent me for monitoring when I said there wasn’t one. In the end I just lied. If I sat in certain positions she would kick and move about. She had days where she moved a lot and other days when it was more random. She was born happy and healthy. I guess just try to follow your gut feeling

Mine didn't go into a pattern until around 32 weeks really. And even then it's not 100%

Mine doesn't have a pattern at 33 weeks...
