When to have second baby?!

I have postponed my wedding abroad to May 2022 from May this year. My plan was to start trying after we were married but obviously this is later now!

My head is saying wait - financially would be easier, my little girl is 2 and a demanding toddler - very high energy, I wouldn't have to stress about losing baby weight within 5/6 months and so many other things! My partner says he's happy either way but it probably makes sense to wait too.

However, my heart and my ovaries have got other ideas! I'm 32 now and will be nearly 34 by the time we are married and I just really want another baby but can't ignore the fact that logically it makes sense to wait.

Any advice please?! Thank you.

I wouldn't wait.

After our 1st we had 2 miscarriages before finally getting our 2nd child. We wanted a 2 year age gap and ended up with a 5 year gap, we were young so not a big deal but as you get older that has to be factored in.
My current pregnancy (#6) follows 2 mc's too, 6 year age gap between this one and our youngest (twins).

I'm going to start trying again once baby is between 4- 6 months

Thank you for your reply. Sorry to hear you had a hard time. I am also concerned that I won't get pregnant as quickly this time and I know the risk of miscarriage increases with age.
