Bleeding at 6 weeks

I’ve had a small amount of bleeding this morning (with no cramps). Should I try and get a call back from the doctor? If I do are they likely to just tell me to see how I go or will they book me in for blood tests or anything?

I’m sure it’s nothing to be honest but can’t be too careful.

Depends on the amount and how long it lasts.
If it is just light and pink or brown it is likely to be implantation and nothing to worry about.
If it is bright red and enough to need a pad they may refer you to EPAU, can be quite a wait for scans atm though. Good luck

I had spotting at 9wk in July and pain in my cesarean scar. Eventually got a referral to EPAU for 4 days later, sadly that was 2 days too late for me. Currently 13+3wk and thie one was very active on my dating scan.

It’s only a really small amount and very light I’m just hoping it doesn’t get any worse. I do have a reassurance scan in 2 weeks when I’ll be almost 9 weeks but can’t bare the thought of going and seeing nothing Sad

Sorry to hear about your MC @Chelyanne, hope you have a healthy pregnancy Flowers

Thank you.

Doesn't sound bad enough for them to offer any help atm, hopefully it will stop in a day or 2. If it last longer than a couple of days or gets heavier ring your GP for a referral to EPAU. Good luck, I hope you make it to your scan and see the flickering of its little heart on screen.
