Hello!

I’m back with another thread, I’m 10+4 and I’m 14 and a half stone (maybe more now I haven’t weighed since finding out I was pregnant) so my BMI is 36 which is not good, I was actively losing weight before I got pregnant and still doing light exercise now but I have an obvious tummy before pregnancy so I was just wondering the pregnant ladies with a higher BMI when did you start to actually show that you were pregnant?

Thank you :)

My BMI was at 36 when I had my booking app with my twins, I looked more pregnant than podgey at 17wk. The singletons it was more like 20/21wks and I started out slimmer with my eldest 2 but a similar weight with the 3rd. I'm 13+2wk atm, normal trousers were tight at 8wk, just look like I've gained a fair bit of timber atm as I can't suck the belly in. I carry a lot of my weight round my middle and have a lot of excess skin there after the twins too so it is rather jiggly lol, BMI was 34 at booking (2 years ago it was at 26, tut tut).

I didn't start showing until around 30 weeks. And people still didn't notice until around 36 weeks.
It all depends where you carry your weight

Thanks guys, I’m the same, I carry all my weight in my face and my stomach, so my stomach is already big anyways! Just curious I am more than anything haha, thanks for the replies!
