Helloooo I'm approximately 4weeks &6 days.
I took a clear blue on a day before my period and it said 1-2, then I took another test 3 days later and got 2-3 weeks. I've taken a test today with the smallest amount off urine and my test line come up instantly and darker then the control line.

Is this normal to have such a dark test line ? Does this mean higher hcg

Mine have always been darker than the control line once my period was late.

Congratulations

MintGreenLife · 11/02/2021 12:24

@cymb this is definitely normal. My FRER at 18 DPO looked just like yours, it's just HCG increasing as expected.

cymb · 11/02/2021 12:27

@BurningBenches oh really? I'm so surprised as I never before had these test lines come up instantly before the control line SmileI usually suffer with low hcg so quite shocked 😯 thank you x

Definitely normal. Mine went this way at 14dpo, the day after my period was due and it’s certainly a good sign! Like you, I was amazed at how fast the line appeared! Definitely don’t get caught up with testing, I ended up totally obsessed with it for a while and it’s really not good and prompts lots of unnecessary worry. I’m now 5+2 and feeling a lot more relaxed than I did with endless testing. Best of luck to you and wishing you a healthy, happy pregnancy! Xx

cymb · 11/02/2021 12:39

@PippityChippity I'm going to stop testing now! I think because I suffered a miscarriage last year I'm so paranoid! As I'm having slight aches on and off in my belly but I hear that's normal. But I'm so paranoid if I stop being sick or don't wee as much I think somethings wrong. Thank you though it's nice to speak to someone going through it too☺️! Congratulations tooo xxx

@cymb That is more than understandable! I totally understand how that could cause worries for you! I suffer with anxiety and this is what caused my obsessive testing as I was worrying incessantly about miscarriage and the “What ifs” of something going wrong. Symptoms will fluctuate daily (And throughout the day) so they will vary but tests this strong are a good sign. I’ve got an early scan booked on Saturday next week so definitely book one in if you think that would help you too Smile thank you! Praying for a healthy, bean! Xx

cymb · 11/02/2021 13:11

@PippityChippity oh my atleast I'm not the only one who had this type of anxiety! Everyone I see who's pregnant seems so calm and relaxed! Oooo how exciting! I bet you can't wait! If you get time update me. Good luck! And fingers crossed for your pregnancy ☺️xxx

@cymb You most definitely aren’t alone win the anxiety, don’t worry about that Smile there are dozens of old threads on here with lots of worried pregnant ladies, exactly the same as us! I’m super excited, wish I had booked it dead on 6 weeks but a few extra days won’t change anything! Hopefully it’s a positive experience! Thank you, wishing you lots of luck too! Xxx

Hi I’m new here
I’m glad I’ve come across your post I’ve been wanting another baby for a long time I’ve got all the regular symptoms i tested Sunday with 2 dark lines using first response then Monday 1 line was fainter I’m feeling very anxious and want to test again and everytime I get any cramps I worry I’m going to have a miscarriage spoke to midwife she thinks I’m 5weeks 4 days

SG121 · 11/02/2021 19:09

Hi all, I am currently 4w 6d and I definitely understand the anxiety. I miscarried last month at 5w 3d and caught straight away again with no period in between. I thought I'd be more relaxed this time but I'm definitely not. I have been testing lots and I worry about symptoms fluctuating - I woke up this morning and my boobs weren't as sore as yesterday and really freaked out. Also cramping on and off - It's so hard to stay positive when you've had a loss before! It's been reassuring to hear you ladies who are worrying just as much as me. Sending lots of positivity to you all x

cymb · 11/02/2021 19:17

@XkateX34 oh no.... honestly it is so horrible. I found myself going crazy with my previous pregnancy when I miscarried. I think the best thing to do is to just try relax as much as possible and talk to people even if it's just people you meet on here. If you ever feel at ease you can reach out to me on my social c_mblake 🥰 I know it's not nice when your 5 weeks as you. Can't really let anyone else know as it's too early! Congratulations and fingers crossed ❤️xx

SG121 · 13/02/2021 17:01

@cymb thank you so much you too! Yeah I agree it's nice to get it out - we've only told both our Mums and my sister so far so it is nice to talk to people who understand it! I'm coming up close to how far along I was when I miscarried so I know it's normal to be nervous. When will the worrying stop!!! lol x

XkateX34 · 13/02/2021 17:09

I’ll keep everything crossed for you that everything carries on going ok
We’ve only told our parents looking forward to being able to tell friends
I keep thinking I don’t mind feeling sick it makes everything feel more real

@cymb congrats hun. X
@SG121 hi hun. Congrats also. Sorry saw your response and it gave me hope. I mc few wks ago at 11wks. Hoping ttc asap. I havent got my period yet but the pregnancy test has come back negative but the ovulation strip still say positive. Wasnt sure to wait for my period or not. Would you advice for me to wait? How you feeling taking in after the mc? (Sorry so many questions lol) The EPU said wait for at least one period. Was also going to see if I could get progesterone if needed. I have 2 kids already aged 3 and 5. What supplements are you taking please? Thanks in advance

Hi! I'm new to this group. I have been POAS since August 3. My LMP was July 5. Tests were all blazingly positive. So I went to an have an ultrasound check last saturday but the doctor said, there isn't anything in my uterus. As early as last saturday, she immediately concluded that she sees H-mole in my uterine lining. I was do devastated since we were trying to conceive for almost 6 yrs and it was hard for us because I have PCOS. But since saturday, I still tested everyday like twice of it. The test lines got even darker than the control line. Im so worried. She told me to wait for a follow up scan after 3 weeks. Did anybody in this group experienced this before? Thank you.
