Sweep 39 weeks?

Hello

I am 39 weeks this friday, have midwife tomorrow - will they offer me a sweep? Reason I ask my friend is at same stage as me and she reckons her MW will offer her one, sorry if this is a silly question this is my first pregnancy and all new to me

I had to visit triage after a fall last week and I was offered one. I was 39.3 and she said they can do one any time after 39 weeks. I have midwife today and will be having another one, I’m 40.3 today so I’m hoping this one works!

Usually they only offer from 40 weeks unless there's other reasons to

@youvegotafriendinme - ah I may not get one as im a day before being 39 weeks, aw good luck! im so confused from now do you get a midwife appointment each week instead of once every 2 weeks? X

Yes weekly now until 42w or booked induction
