Had a gender scan at exactly 16 weeks. They said it was a boy, but I’m not convinced. Can someone give their opinion??

@Olivia1010 from what I understand they are more likely to get a girl wrong, where as boy is more obvious if that makes sense? What's making you feel unsure?

Do you have a photo ? Why are you not convinced I’m believing a medically trained sonographer ?

They will probably be able to tell you your baby’s sex when you have your 20 week anomalies scan. So you could consider that to be a second opinion, perhaps 🤷‍♀️

I had a gender scan at 16 weeks too - boy - and they did get it right. Was confirmed at the 20 week scan and then at birth :)

I was told that it's easier to get in wrong when they identify a girl as boys can hide their "boy parts" but once it's visible, it can't be mistaken for much else Grin
