Hi

Has anyone got one of these travel systems and can give me pros and cons?

Will be watching with interest as I’m considering this too ☺️

They look great for the price of it but just wondering if it’s a what you pay for is what you get scenario. I’ve looked at other ones at £900-1200 which are lovely but then I think will it really make all that much difference.

I've got one! I love it! It's handy having the adapters for the car seat for quickly popping into places. It's light and easy to assemble and collapse. Haven't used the 6 months + pram seat section yet though!

Babyontheway21 · 09/02/2021 15:20

Great thank you, are the wheels ok on it, do they feel sturdy enough up and down kerbs. Some of the dearer ones say their wheels buckle easilyHmm

I find it absolutely fine, others may disagree but this is the first pram I've had so I've got nothing to compare it to really! The only thing I would say is the hood for the car seat and pram sections are really flimsy it's just a bit of thin material stretched across xx

Going to jump onto this thread as also interested!

@daimbar2030 do you know if the isofix base fits other brand car seats or just the Icklebubba? Sorry if its a daft question- totally new to all of this! X

Babyontheway21 · 09/02/2021 15:56

Ah ok, I’m hoping to be able to see one in shops when they are open, I think they are mostly an online brand but I’m sure smyths sell them.

I have the V4 and I love it, brilliant value for money. The car seat can be a little fiddly to get onto the ISOFIX but it’s ok once you get the knack. Wheels are sturdy and my 7 month old is very happy in it.

BertieBotts · 09/02/2021 16:01

Isofix bases are only for the one car seat.

Babyontheway21 · 09/02/2021 16:05

Oh I didn’t know there was a V4 I’ll have a little look.

I need to follow this thread too! I’ve been looking at all the ickle bubba travel systems and I love the design but unsure whether they’re good quality because they’re cheaper. I looove the V3 and V4, they also have an offer on rn!

Just the ickle bubba I think xxx
FirsttimeMumma91 · 10/11/2021 23:27

@hayjt24 I have been doing the exact same wondering as you and have found that the entire stomp range have universal car seat adapters which are compatible with..

Fits the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix & Pebble car seats
Fits the BeSafe Izi-Go Car Seat
Fits the Cybex Aton Car Seat

I also love the V3 but have been a bit a sceptical about the own brand car seats due to reading bad reviews of the flimsy hood and handle catching on the hood. So we are getting the pebble and v3 with adapters :)
I hope that helps xx

FirsttimeMumma91 · 10/11/2021 23:29

Argh my mistake I’ve just re read and realised your discussing the car seat base not attachments to pram wooops. Xx

I clicked on this assuming it was a joke thread. You are genuinely thinking of spending a thousand pounds on something called an... Ickle Bubba?
