When did you receive your 12 week scan letter

Hello just wondering what the time frame is roughly to receive the letter for your 12 week scan as I’m 10weeks 1 day now and haven’t received anything and I haven’t heard from midwife for around 2 weeks

I didn't get a letter they booked the appointment during my booking in appointment (over the phone)

What’s the booking appointment the only appointment I had is in person at the maternity led clinic where they take your bloods a urine sample ect and they said there I should receive a letter in post of 12 week scan date

The booking appointment is your first appointment where you get your bloods done and urine sample taken and they ask a ton of health related questions and give you your maternity notes.

It will vary between different people, I recieved mine in the post about 2 or 3 days after my booking appointment I think I was 8 or 9 weels

If you haven't recieved anything yet then have you rung your maternity unit/antenatal screening unit to ask?

I got mine around 10 weeks. Text your midwife or call the scanning department at the hospital and they can check and confirm the date.

I got my letter through a few days after my booking appointment

I called the antenatal clinic at the hospital and told them my letter hadn’t arrived yet and I’m glad I did as they hadn’t booked me in! Booked me in over the phone and received a letter confirming the details a few days later.

Thank you I’ve text my midwife now asking about it and she’s meant to have a look today. They have my door number wrong at the hospital so I feel like it could of gone to the wrong address I have corrected them but I’m not sure if they actually changes it

Our trust is now paperless so I got my dating scan letter the same day as my phone booking app. Got my anomaly scan letter given when I had my dating scan yesterday.

I got my appointments for booking in and scan when I was 7 weeks.

I got mine a few days after my booking appt, so about 10.5 weeks. I had the scan at 12+6

In 10+4 and got my letter yesterday! Cause of everything going on and the moment they might be taking a smidge longer? Maybe give your midwife a nudge

Every trust does it a bit differently unfortunately. At mine you get the booking appointment and first scan booked at the same time. So I always received two letters on the same day; one giving me me booking appointment date and one giving me my scan date for about 3 weeks later.

I had my booking appointment at 7 weeks and didn't get my scan letter until a week before, was getting pretty peed off as MW said I'd get it by the end of my 10th week and it hadnt appeared

It rang my midwifery clinic last week they said my midwife is in my docs Friday so she should call me then but she hasn’t so I’m gonna call them back today as I’m 11 weeks now and still haven’t heard anything

Thing is they have me down as being like nearly 13 weeks ad the dates they’ve wrote down are due to my last period but I’m like 2 weeks earlier according to previous scans but if they have me down as 13 weeks surely they should of booked me in nkw

I only had my 12 week scan letter 7 days before my appointment so it could come any day now ? I was very impatient and getting wound up every time the post woman came and there was no letter
