I’m 34 and recently found out I’m expecting my second. My little girl is 9yo in March and this new baby wasn’t planned and was a total surprise. I’m really suffering with all the usual - feeling nauseas, tired all the time etc.
My partner is absolutely mortified at the fact of having another one and to be honest, I’m absolutely petrified. Life was going absolutely fine, my daughter is our whole world, we have two stable jobs, a healthy wage and good standard of life. I just can’t seem to get excited about the prospect of a new addition and it makes me feel like an awful and selfish person! Everyday I wake up and pray that I’ll feel more positive about it all but I can’t seem to get there. I’m so scared about the financial impact this is going to have on us. We was going to start saving for a house. I’ll definately have to give up my job for a couple of years too. Has anyone else felt like this? How did it turn out for you?
