I sometimes get that... esp after sex! I think it's pretty normal.

butterscotch · 01/11/2007 21:40

Don't feel like a prat better to be safe than sorry and if you hadn't gone and got checked you would have ended up stressing more about it which is no good for you or your bubba! I am naturally a worrier and saw my MW more they are used to it so don't worry about it

I get that when I ovalaute for a couple of days, if it comes back just b4 my period due then I know Im preg,(been preg 5 times and happened every time). Then I get it quite alot through the pregancy. As long as it clear, no blood no colour and doesnt smell its fine.
Congratulations

Sorry to hijack, what happens if you have it and it's not clear (i.e. errr, how do I describe it....very very slightly brown tinged I suppose) and a bit smelly? I had a scan yesterday after worrying because of bleeding and pain (which settled) and I had tiny baby and heartbeat and they said all looked fine. I'm 7 weeks today, should I worry? Me and dh did have sex last night for the first in about 2 weeks as had been avoiding due to my worries before the scan. In case this means anything.....I THINK I might have thrush atm.

Any idea's?

Glad baby okay! I had this at 17 weeks and it was green too. I was checked for infection but all tests came back clear. The MW told me not to worry as if the plug did come away at this stage it would grow back - this happened to a friend of mine and her 'baby' is now 7!

Looneytunes - if it is a bit smelly I would asked to be checked for infection just in case. Thrush shouldn't smell but is not pleasant (and can cause non-baby-related bleeding if it gets bad) so well worth getting that treated. Have also heard that when pg thrush does not always behave the same way that it does when you are not.
