Where do you feel movement?

Just that really? I'm 32 weeks and everyone keeps saying "I bet you can feel them kicking you in the ribs!" but I've never felt anything that high up. I get lots of movements low down where leg meets body and then all over my bump but nothing more than an inch or so above my belly button. Every time I've seen the MW they say he's head down but it's really hard to tell what's what!

Where do you feel your baby moving?

I'm 32 weeks today and baby is head down. At my last scan the lady said "Oh wow her legs are right in your ribs, can you feel that? That can't be nice?"
And honestly, I haven't felt a thing.
I feel a lot low down which I presume are punches and then can feel them rolling.
Actually started worrying thinking why can't I feel kicks anymore, is something wrong with their legs

I mostly feel movement lower down. Mine is currently breech at 35weeks. generally rolling and the odd kick/punch. I've never felt much in the ribs area, just the head restricting my breathing if I slouch!

@SnooperTrooper12345 That's actually reassuring! I haven't had a scan since 20 weeks so am just going on what the MW has told me about which way round he is. I guess if their back is against our front (which apparently he is) then they are kicking inside where we can't feel it? He must have a really powerful punch on him and some very pointy elbows as I get lots of movements low down like you said and then the rolling more in the middle.

I'm 29 weeks and I'm mainly feeling rolling around the middle and sort of scratchy punches very low. I know he's head down and his bum is then one side of my bell button and his legs are folded across to the other side. So he's sort of on his side. I had a scan just a few days ago. I never felt rib kicks with my daughter either. I think it depends how they lie and where they are active but I think feet are more stretches and hands are more definite feelings.

That's a good point. I never thought about obviously it wouldn't be as strong when their back is to your stomach.
I know 100% my baby is in that position as I had a scan Friday

I’m 32 weeks and baby is head down.

I think he was lying head down but with his back to my side because I got lots of kicks in one side and quite high up in one rib.

I think he’s now shifted so his back is against the front of my bump because I’m feeling more movements low down and more big rolling movements rather than pokey kicks.

At 37 weeks, I do get those kicks in the ribs, particularly under the left one. At last mw appt, baby was head down, with back against my right side, which explains why most kicks/movements are mostly felt on the left side. Although after doing some exercises, I can feel kicks under the left rib, but thats short lived and back to the right again!
