I wanted to see if anyone else out there has experienced something similar... just under 1 month ago I had what I assumed was my period (although light) but then I started bleeding again only 18 days into my cycle but this time stronger. After 6 days of bleeding it had tapered off and I was sitting in the bath with my son when I saw what seemed like a clot ( obviously it had come from me and it was brownish in colour so not fresh blood) in the water. We got out and I got him down to sleep. The bathroom is next to his room so rather than just pulling out the plug and possibly waking him I scooped it out of the water. That’s when I realised it had two hard small lumps inside. Both lumps were the size of a grain of rice and bulbous on the top and pointy on the bottom in a curved shape and honestly resembled what a 5 or so week old embryo looks like from all of the images I’ve seen on embryo development..Until that moment I hadn’t really considered that I could be pregnant as we had been using protection BUT at that moment the penny dropped that I had been feeling quite nauseous/ extra hungry/ smell sensitive/ had been tucking into my old pregnancy craving of flavoured milk of late- I’m not usually a milk drinker and have been having migraines frequently the last 2 weeks or so just like I did in early pregnancy with my son. I bought home pregnancy tests which were negative and went to my dr the afternoon after I passed it. They ordered me some bloods and today I received a negative hcg/ pregnancy result. I have had clots before with period but this was definitely different. Looking at what I held in my hand I literally couldn’t imagine it to be anything other than two embryos... but my test result say otherwise...so my question is has anyone else had something similar or even a proven/ acknowledged miscarriage but no positive hcg in urine or blood test?! The passing of this clot was now 4 days ago as it was just before the weekend and I’ve been feeling really nauseous and with frequent migraines...Feeling super confused.
