So around this past Monday or Tuesday (2/1 or 2/2), my ladybits started feeling really sore. Now, since getting pregnant (I'm 34, as of December 2020), I normally get sore for a day or two after having sex with my 'joon'. At this point, we hadn't been intimate for a week, though, and this was a totally different kind of pain. It wasn't just in the vagina, but all around it. So I took a look down there, and I noticed that all the skin was really red and irritated, and hurt to touch.
I told my mom and told her what was going on, but she didn't really know what it could be. I decided to wait it out until my next checkup, and just keep things extra clean.
Then, on Thursday, I started getting the itching. Yep, you guessed it--a yeast infection. I was like 90% sure that's what it was at this point. I've never had one before this, though, so I didn't recognize the early signs.
I went to the student health center (currently in university of chicago) Friday morning, hoping that they would examine me, confirm that it was a yeast infection, and let me know what was safe to use. I was turned away, though, because the campus gynecologist does not treat the problems I have.
The itch was getting pretty bad at this point, so I stopped by Walmart and got some of the Vagisil anti-itch wipes. I've been using those a few times a day since then, and they've worked okay so far. I tried calling my doctor's office to see if she wants me to come in any earlier, but haven't been able to get through.
Today, though, I noticed something weird. I was applying the anti-itch stuff, and right around my vagina, there are little cluster of bumps. They include blisters, ooze fluid and there may be a crust that happen. They seem to be red, round with white dots in the middle, somewhat like a cabbage patch. I don't know how to explain it. They don't hurt, and I can move them around, almost like skin tags. I have no idea what these could be, but they're kind of freaking me out.
I'm not sure whether I should get an abortion or not, I've already set up potential meetings.
If any of you has dealt with anything like this before, advice would be most welcome. My appointment is still set for Wednesday morning, so hopefully my doctor will do an exam then. Thanks in advance, everyone!
