Why couldn't you have pineapple juice?
Ofc it's safe

Chelyanne · 07/02/2021 19:25

Yes it's perfectly safe

I read the same thing when I got my bfp and haven’t been able to bring myself to drink any, though my intensive googling tells me it’s absolutely safe.

There’s not going to be a list of every single food or drink that’s fine to eat. There would be too much to list. Just stick to the NHS pages which tell you what foods to avoid.

You can have pineapple juice, just be aware that loads of pineapple juice (a carton or more per day) can cause contractions, some people use it to kickstart labour. I don’t think it works unless you’re drinking loads of it though

You can have pineapple juice, a chemical in the core of the pineapple brings on contractions- but you'd need to scoff about 10!

Ive had a glass of pineapple juice every day of my pregnancy so far and I’m 25 weeks. It’s fine.

LH1987 · 08/02/2021 00:05

I had the same reaction with my first. I had honestly eaten a portion of pineapple about every second day and had drank pineapple juice about once a day. Then i read online that I shouldn't and panicked.

All turned out well, baby is currently 8 months and healthy!
