Make up during pregnancy

Hi everyone, I'm 18 weeks pregnant and came across something in an article about foundation not been safe during pregnancy if it has certain chemicals in it. I have been using Mac studio fix with SPF almost daily. Do yous think i should be worried? This is my first pregnancy so i am a little bit over cautious 🙈 Thanks

Check all labels and/or internet for the offending chemicals in the products you use, if they are present stop using them. Not much you can do about wearing to date.

Do you guys think its ok to use in future? I read far to many scary things of google and always wonder what is true or not.

It's absolutely fine otherwise there would be warnings the same way you're warned about drinking alcohol etc.
I wore foundation all through my pregnancy...until I was sent home because of covid lol.

You'll be fine! I'd stick to reading medical sources such as NHS websites though otherwise you do get terrified (I was the same)

Thank you so much. I know i really do need to stop reading things on the internet. Only thing the NHS advises against is retinol so i’m fine 😀
