Any positives outcomes of bleeding/clots at 6 weeks

Much longed for third pregnancy, been trying for a year.

Have had blood when wiping since yesterday and passed some small clots in the night. No cramps or pain. Have never had any bleeding in pregnancy before, this feels like A LOT to me but hard to tell as really very little on my underwear.

Has anyone had this turn out ok? It seems so unlikely. Got an EPU appt on tues but have booked a private scan this afternoon as I just couldn’t stand waiting.

Sorry, I know this topic has been repeated before.
Just feel so alone despite a very lovely and supportive husband who has taken our two sons to the allotment so I can stay in bed. He won’t be able to come with me later as children not allowed (and would be totally inappropriate for them!)

Hiya, hope you're okay, glad you could get a scan to check.
I had bleeding at 6, 9 and 11 weeks with my daughter (who is now 18 months old) so it can be fine. I always think it can go either way until you know for sure. Fingers crossed everything is okay for you x

That must have been so hard for you, I’m glad your daughter is there with you now. Did you ever know what caused it?

Pregnant with #3 - had some bleeding yesterday afternoon with cramps. Never had this with my first 2.

Booked a scan for last night and all was fine, measuring 6+6.

Didn't really find out why no, although I bled a lot through labour too. The only thing I could think of was that I have an ectropian (dodgy cervix lol) which sometimes causes unusual bleeding. Really hope everything is okay for you. Its so frightening x

That’s so reassuring to hear, and must be such a relief for you! I really hope I get the same news but does feel a bit silly to hope for it.

I’m off work sick today, I’m a nurse and worry I’ve been overdoing it. Had a really stressful day there on weds and then was very physically active on Thursday and Friday. Just kicking myself really

Thanks for the good wishes. I was awake on and off through the night, going to the loo to check, crying and repeat. It really is horrible xx

Im having similar at the moment but on my first pregnancy! Watery brown when wiping yesterday and a brown clot this morning so I'm hoping everything it's ok!

Thank you. How many weeks are you? From what I have read, brown blood and around the time your period would have been due is quite common and less likely to be a problem. I hope it turns out ok for you.

Mine has been bright red at times, which doesn’t fill me with positivity. I know I’m so lucky to have had two straightforward pregnancies before xx

I had a MC that started like this around 8 weeks.

Then I had Ds1&2 and had bleeding at the same stage in both pregnancies. Now 35weeks with dc3 and haven't bled at all- I was worried because I hadn't!

Thought I miscarried after huge red bleed at 5.5 weeks, continued active job, workouts etc, until after blood tests they scanned at 6 weeks, found viable pregnancy, now in last trimester. Fingers crossed for you.

Like a pp they thought it was related to a cervical entropion. Didn’t have it with subsequent pregnancies. Good luck OP.

Scan is at 17.30 so just waiting nervously and checking for bleeding every few mins. Seems like it might have stopped but I bet I lose loads now I’ve said that!

I could have written this! Got my positive test on Monday and bled on Wednesday but nothing since. Kind of thought a miscarriage would be more painful and prolonged. I haven’t rang EPU or anyone because I’m barely 6 weeks and thought it would cause more anxiety because it’s too early to see anything. I’m going to wait and test again in a few weeks and if still positive go for an early scan (I’m entitled to one after a late loss last year) and yet had no problems with baby #1 or #2, these pesky third babies. I know your post is almost a year old but I am experiencing this right now and I am out of my mind. Did you have any intense cramping? I feel fine other than a heavy red bleed and dark red clots. Just like a usual period. Barely any pain at all. Scan is on Wednesday but I'm stressing and very upset. I'm 6w+6d.

Hi currently 9 weeks pregnant been having blood while wiping after I’ve had a wee since Saturday went to a&e today where they taken bloods from me and told me to rest not heard anything back about bloods atm anybody experienced anything similar as im panicking
