Miscarriage

Hi everyone!
Basically I went to an early scan in December and found out I had a blighted ovum. I got told because of covid I had to have medical management as I wasn’t allowed a d&c but it didn’t work when I had no bleeding they did an ultrasound and confirmed I would have to have it again. I had the medical assistance again this time I have had bleeding etc but it will be 3 weeks on the upcoming Wednesday and I’m still bleeding. Has anyone been through this and still bled for this long and the miscarriage was complete. I honestly just feel devastated it’s been going on for this long.
Any advice would be extremely appreciated.
Thank you

Hey @June1999 I'm so sorry for what has happened. As you have bled for more than 2 weeks I'd contact the EPU again (I was told this after my MC). Are your pregnancy tests negative yet?

Condolences on you loss
Bleeding for more than a couple of weeks is often a sign of retained products or an infection. I would ring the EPAU and explain what is happening, they should have you back in for a scan to check how things are inside. I hope they get you sorted quickly.

I'm sorry for your loss. As mentioned above I would go back to the EPU, I had a late miscarriage last July and bled for 4 weeks which got steadily worse, turns out I had retained products which had become infected. It was all sorted really quickly, but the sooner your looked at the better.
