I’m 19+1 and for the last week or so, but moreso today I feel my bump has got smaller. Is this normal?

This happened to me at 34 weeks in both my previous pregnancies and I went to be checked out. Both times my babies movements caused me actual pain not discomfort and the amniotic fluid around baby had reduced.

If your bump is noticeably smaller I would go and get checked out. If you have been doing measurements yourself or have had different midwives do them it could just depend on their technique and how high they measure.

If in doubt, contact your midwife and get checked out x

I'm 20 weeks and yes, my bump is sometimes smaller in the morning. I assume because I've not had anything to eat or drink and so no bloating?

I’ve noticed it smaller both this morning and still smaller now but I have eaten only a bagel all day so perhaps it could be related to that, I had a scan on Monday and everything was fine but I think I’ll reach out to my midwife on Monday x

I'm 27 weeks now but at 19 weeks my bump would vary in size a lot based on what I'd eaten, how much I'd drank, whether I needed the toilet and babies position even the time of day so I wouldn't worry x

This happens to me all the time. I'm 32 weeks

Thank you for your responses, yesterday it seemed bigger again. I think I need to stop over analysing ha ha the joys of pregnancy 😊
