No Cramps In Early Pregnancy?

I’m 4+4 today and have had minimal cramping, just a bit when AF was due but these were very different to normal AF cramps and more like pulling and pressure. I’m a bit concerned as so many places seem to suggest cramps are normal?

I’ve had a few other symptoms - Sore boobs/nipples and boobs growing (OH is in his element, I’m less so as the damn things are already big!), increased CM, significantly more tired (Been asleep on the sofa by 9pm every night this week which is unlike me), mild nausea which comes and goes and oddly, a stuffy/congested nose. I know it’s still very early days but just looking for reassurance I guess!

Totally normal. Pretty much every symptom you can think of, is also totally normal NOT to get that symptom.

I’ve had minimal cramping. Mainly early on, around 4 weeks. My boobs are only mildly tender, I too have a stuffy nose, which was always one of my main symptoms, and my nausea is barely there most of the time.

Just count yourself lucky for now, I know I certainly do. And don’t be surprised if your symptoms ramp up after 6 weeks. But equally don’t be surprised if they don’t! Lol.
I’m 7 weeks and still have barely anything, but I’ve seen a heartbeat.

Just know that there is no textbook pregnancy, and everyone is different. Just because some symptoms are common doesn’t mean you’ll every have any of them!

Congrats! And good luck x

@Moominmiss Thank you! That’s actually really reassuring for me.
This is baby number 1 for us so it’s all uncharted territory for us! I’m very reluctant to complain too much about lack of symptoms - My poor SIL suffered horrendously from HG so I won’t to rest on my laurels too much atm as I know how fast it can go South!

I think I’ll be much more chilled when I see a heartbeat. Definitely going to opt for an early scan in a couple of weeks time I think.

Thank you, and to you too! Everything crossed for smooth pregnancies for us! Flowers x

I had very few symptoms with either of mine - obviously the main one was no period!

But seriously the more you read online the more you think somethings wrong if you feel ok. Trust me, but the time you get to 30 weeks you'll have the sore back and swollen feet!

Hi OP, this is my second pregnancy (first one was twins) and not a single cramp in either of them. The only things I felt were slight scratchy, pulling sensations, and a kind of heavy feeling in my pelvis around implantation time and for a week or two after - certainly nothing I would describe as a cramp. I have never experienced period cramps either though so that might be why!

@PippityChippity I was worried about this as lots of people seam to mention cramps, however I’m 15 weeks now and have had none at all, no pulling sensations either, and I’ve got the start of a bump, plus everything good on my scans. I guess some of us just don’t get these pains. I’ve had round ligament pains from early on though x
