With ds I was mad on lemon flavoured stuff like fruit fools and balsamic vinegar on everything. Same again with this pregnancy. Another boy? Having said that I eat a lot of sweet stuff anyway so maybe I wouldn't notice a sweet craving???

I had cravings for hard boiled eggs before my second scan - 14 to 22 week - and my grandma said I was going to have a boy. And she was right!

have ds and prego with another ds, with both craving fruit and sweets.
my sister said with her dd she could get enough meat and savory things...

with dd i craved chocolate, ds 1 craved savoury bits, ds 2 was savoury and now pg i crave strawberryade weird i know , wish i knew what i was having????

Mummybug · 02/11/2007 21:25

With DD I craved vegemite on toast and not much else. Now PG and craving chicken and peas- don't know sex yet.
I think all three are high in folic acid so could be a general thing.
Just enjoying talking about food really!!

Nah - I tried the gender predicter quiz which asked tons of questions about cravings and even stuff like - how do you pick up your mug - by the handle or the cup???!!! And it said I was having a girl - wrong. Mind you - the Chinese gender predicter which works out the sex dependant on age/month conceived was right!

I just craved sweet food when I was pregnant with dd (though I didn't know the sex of the baby until she was born) and funnily enough a good friend who was pregnant at the same time as me, knew she was having a ds, only craved savory foods.

I'm now pregnant again with my second child and won't be finding out the sex of the baby, but I think I'll use the sweet/savory theory for this one.

I don't crave fiood for the taste, but for the texture. I am pregnant with no 3 and cravings aren't really established yet, but I have yearnings for bread/cake.
With DD it was white chocolate with crispy bits in it and battered sausages.
With Ds it was doughnuts, and burgers.

Craved lemon flavour and liquorice during all 3 pregnancies. All 3 were boys. Having not had a girl I don't know if there's anything in it or not.

My friend craved sweet stuff and ice lollies and had a boy. With me it is more savoury stuff, but don't know what I'm having! Lots of people reckon I'm having a boy but an equal amount of people think I'm having a girl. As my midwife says only one way to tell the sex, look between its legs!
